We feel your pain. Unlike other self-watering planters, where soil moisture level changes with water height, our self watering pot maintains constant and optimal moisture level at all times and guarantees the optimum level for your plants to thrive. We will return you money if you are not happy with your purchase.
Our current self watering pot is good for medium to wet moisture level plants. For example, African Violet, Aglaonema, Aphelandra, Aralia, Azalea, Baby's Tears, Begonia, Caladium, Chinese Evergreen, Coffee, Coleus, Croton, Dracaena, Euonymus, False Aralia, Fittonia, Flame Violet, Gynura, Hawaiian Ti, English Ivy, Grape Ivy, Swedish Ivy, Maranta, Ming Aralia, Nepthytis, Palms-Areca, Philodendron, Pilea, Podocarpus, Pothos, Pray Plant, Schefflera, Scindapsus, Spathiphyllum, Zebra Plant.
We currently offer planter size 4.5" and 6" diameter, 6" depth
The pot is made of PLA. PLA (Polylactide) is a non-toxic, bio-based industrial thermoplastic that is 100% bio-degradable.
The pot and all packaging material are 100% proudly made in the U.S.A.
Typically 3-5 business days in the US.
We make sure each pot is packaged for maximum protection. However, if it's found damaged, we will replace you a new one with no strings attached.
10" X 8" X 6" box.
Unlike other self-watering planters (where soil moisture level changes with water height), we took a different approach by including a secondary water reservoir. Our self watering planter maintains constant and optimal moisture level at all times. Plus, our novel water transporting filament is non-deteriorating and elegantly integrated with the pot.
After reaching appropriate moisture level, a full reservoir of water should last 3-4 weeks.
You will not be able to over-water with our self-watering pots. By design, the planter is completely separated from water reservoir. And plants only take in water as they need.
The refill process is intuitive and simple. Once the water level indicates that water is low, just open the cap, fill the reservoir, and close the cap. Unlike many other self-watering planters (which requires pointing to a small opening and watching for water level to avoid over-filling), our refill process is as simple as you get a glass of water.
It does not require screwing in tight for water reservoir to seal. The design takes care of the possible leaking cap. So just gently twist the cap until you feel it is catching the thread.
The water level indicator may not be obvious in dark environment. In this case, shine some light around the water reservoir. You will see a dark round dot in the side slot indicating the water height.
If the water level is too high or too low, you may not be able to see it. However, this is not a malfunction.
The pot is designed for indoor plants only. The temperature should be limited to 95F for your pot to work properly.
Filling the soil compartment between 3/4 and full is recommended.
If the soil is already wet or semi-wet, lightly pack the soil is fine. Just ensure you occupy the soil compartment with soil and leave no hollow space.
If the soil is dry, you will need to pack it as tight as possible to ensure the moisture can be transferred appropriately.
